LRI Personal Caregiver

Position Overview
LRI Caregivers provide direct personal care and support to their eligible minor child in the child’s home. Services must remain within the approved Medicaid authorization and applicable program requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support services outlined in the participant’s approved care plan.
- Promote the health, safety, dignity, and well-being of the child.
- Perform authorized personal care tasks according to the participant’s assessed needs.
- Accurately document visits using the required Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system.
- Complete required training, orientation, and competency assessments.
- Follow High Hopes policies, documentation standards, and Medicaid program requirements.
- Communicate significant changes in the child’s condition or care needs to appropriate personnel.
- Protect confidential participant and family information.
- Ensure service time does not overlap with other employment or Medicaid-funded services.
- Remain within approved service hours and authorization limits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must be the parent or legal guardian of the eligible child.
- Must reside in the same household as the child.
- Must meet applicable Medicaid waiver and LRI eligibility requirements.
- Must successfully complete required background checks and eligibility screening.
- Must complete required onboarding, training, and credentialing.
- Must be able to perform authorized care tasks safely.
- Must be able to use required electronic documentation and timekeeping systems.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow individualized care plans.
- Understanding of participant rights and confidentiality.
- Ability to document services accurately and promptly.
- Ability to work independently and manage authorized service time responsibly.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to safely perform the personal care activities identified in the child’s approved plan of care, which may include assistance with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, hygiene, and other authorized tasks.

Position Overview
The In-Home Respite/Child Care Provider delivers authorized respite and child care services in accordance with individual care plans, participant needs, and applicable program requirements. Providers maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment while promoting independence, development, and overall well-being.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision, support, and engagement to assigned participants.
- Ensure participant safety and well-being in home or community settings.
- Assist with activities of daily living consistent with the care plan, including eating, mobility, hygiene, and general support.
- Provide medication reminders as directed; administer medication only when appropriately authorized, trained, and permitted.
- Provide developmentally appropriate activities promoting independence, socialization, and inclusion.
- Follow individualized care plans and complete required service documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of participant and company information.
- Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding participant needs, incidents, or concerns.
- Follow applicable Medicaid requirements and company policies.
- Complete required training and in-service education.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age.

- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification before providing services.

- Reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting children, individuals with disabilities, or vulnerable populations.
- Relevant coursework, training, or experience in human services, education, nursing, or a related field.
Work Schedule
Part-time, non-exempt position. Hours are intermittent and scheduled based on participant needs and applicable service authorizations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and actively engage with participants.
- Ability to respond promptly and effectively to participant safety needs.

Position Overview
The Child Care Teacher is responsible for supporting children’s emotional and physical well-being, safety, learning, and development. Teachers plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational experiences and help children develop language, social, behavioral, and school-readiness skills.
Essential Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate classroom activities, including storytelling, games, and educational experiences.
- Help children learn and follow classroom rules, routines, and procedures.
- Observe children’s development and monitor progress toward developmental and school-readiness goals.
- Communicate professionally with parents, families, coworkers, and center management.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with children and families.
- Maintain a safe, secure, organized, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain required attendance records, incident reports, developmental documentation, and other records.
- Collaborate with parents, Early Development Network personnel, and other providers to support applicable IFSP or IEP goals.
- Apply current knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and meet at least one of the following qualification pathways:
- Verified Experience: A high school diploma or GED and at least 1,500 verified clock hours of experience working in organized group activities for young children, documented through a positive reference or verification from a former employer or supervisor.
- CDA Credential: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
- College Education: A qualifying associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, education, or child/youth development.
- Previously Completed DHHS-Approved Training Plan: A high school diploma or GED and documentation demonstrating successful completion of the required coursework or training under a previously approved DHHS training plan, subject to verification that the completed qualifications satisfy applicable requirements.
Important Qualification Requirement: Applicants must already meet the applicable education, experience, or completed-training qualifications. High Hopes is not considering applicants who would require the company to develop and submit a new DHHS-approved training plan to establish their initial qualifications for this position.

- Successful completion of required state and federal background screening.
- Ability to maintain applicable training, certification, and continuing education requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
